Reflections on COP30: Q&A Panel
Wednesday 26 November 2025
2:45pm - 3:45pm
Elm House 214
COP30 is the 30th Conference of the Parties, a climate change conference organised by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and attended by countries from around the world. Its purpose is to bring countries together to negotiate and make decisions on tackling climate change.
Do you want to find out more about COP30? Join your Sustainability Officer, Max and the University for this panel event. We will discuss what took place at COP30 and its implications for the future of climate action. The panel will bring together students and staff, including some who helped develop the University’s policy recommendations for COP30. Panellists will share their thoughts and reflections on the key outcomes, unexpected moments, and next steps emerging from this year’s summit, before opening the floor for questions and discussion. It’s a chance to ask questions, hear a range of perspectives, and gain key insights into COP30.
This panel event is taking place as part of the University's Student Sustainability Day, 12:00-16:00 on Nov 26th. You can sign up to attend the full day of events here: https://forms.office.com/e/gzQsqPYtZp
