Hello BUCV!
We are heading to Pandy in Mid Wales to work and stay with our long standing collaberators at their farm. We will be doing some Riverfly sampling, Tree mantenance, Dry Stone Walling as well as some hiking and general chill fun.
We will be staying in a Bunkhouse and all cooking and eating together. Transport will be provided from the North Gate at UoB via minibus.
A full kit list will be provided closer to the time. Please be advised that our accomodation is reached by a approx 1 mile climb up quite a steep hill and you should pack accordingly (i.e make sure you are only bringing stuff you are able to carry yourself).
The accomodation has toilets and full kitchen facilites but due to the water supply on site showers can be limited.
