Once you have returned to the Guild website logged in, click on the ‘My Guild’ tab at the top of the website
Once here, select ‘opt in to view job opportunities’ and click ‘update’

From then on, whenever you are logged in to the Guild website and return to the Job search page, you will be able to see our current job vacancies.

If you are NOT a current student, but have been given an offer to study here in September, you will not be able to log in until your place has been confirmed and you have registered with the University. Please email jobs@guild.bham.ac.uk and we will do our best to help you find part time work before you start at the University.

The Guild of Students Welcome Team supports a variety of activities welcoming students to the university and their accommodation sites. There are two types of Welcome Team roles due to the variety of activities over the Welcome period. Residence Life Assistants (Events)

Residence Life Assistants (Events) are a team of student staff who organise and deliver a wide range of small-scale events throughout the academic year to students living in UoB & partner accommodation sites. These events are focused on community building, facilitating positive relationships, supporting students’ wellbeing and developing shared interest amongst students to ensure they have the best experience possible during their time in accommodation.

External Trustee

The Guild is looking for a professional to join our Trustee Board as an External Trustee. The Trustee Board is ultimately responsible for overseeing the affairs of the Guild. Our Trustees must ensure that the Guild is well run and delivers the objectives for which it has been set up.
