What would you like to achieve in your role as an Officer this year?

Some of my manifesto aims include:

I’ll work to create a Guild that embodies inclusivity, support and opportunities for all students as every student deserves the chance to experience the Guild in its full capacity.

Better Integration Between Societies: I envision a Guild where groups, regardless of focus, are encouraged to collaborate and connect. Whether academic, cultural or, sports related, I hope to build a more united community and belonging within the Guild.

More participation in Guild Societies and Events: I wish to improve publicity and therefore engagement within the Guild. There are so many incredible societies and events for students to participate in, so I aim to increase the visibility and excitement surrounding our events.

More support with post-university options from First Year: Life after university can be intimidating so by publicising career workshops and part-time work opportunities from first year, we can assist students early on, helping them to navigate the post-graduation transition with confidence.
