Darts Society

Hello! We’re UoB Darts, an inclusive society open to players of all abilities! 

Whether you’re completely new to darts, looking to sharpen your skills, or already competing at a high level, we’ve got something for you. We’re a great place to improve your game, meet new people, make lifelong friends, try something new, and enjoy plenty of socials and trips along the way.

Founded in 2021, we’ve quickly become a staple of the UDUK darts scene, competing against universities from across the country. We’re proud to have finished 2nd in the Midlands League in 2023/24, and currently hold the West Midlands Varsity title 2026! We’re also incredibly proud to have elected our first-ever female President this year, we hope this helps encourage more women to get involved, take up darts and grow our female membership.

What we offer:

• Monday – Casual Darts: 7–10pm at The Beorma Bar in the Guild. Open to everyone, regardless of experience.
• Wednesday – Competitive Darts: Our A, B and C Teams compete in matches against other universities, with both home and away fixtures.
• Thursday – Training: 7–10pm at the Shackleton Food Hall, giving you the chance to practise, improve and prepare for competitive matches.

Membership is just £15 for the year!

We’re one of the most affordable sports societies at UoB, and membership comes with loads of extras, including:

• Weekly Sports Night pre-drinks
• Weekly Sports Night tickets
• Campus League football
• The Varsity Stage event
• UDUK Big Weekender
• Plenty of other socials and events throughout the year
