‘Centre Staged: Putting Women in the Spotlight’ is an intersectional feminist performing arts society open to all which aims to:
1. Act in good faith to include people of all backgrounds and genders to provide and expand organisation, participation, and performance opportunities for marginalised groups, such as women, in performing arts
2. Redress gender-based discrimination women face, especially in performing arts spaces, while being conscious of intersectional barriers to access based on race, ability, and class
3. Raise money for, and donate it to, a local charity which expressly works to uplift marginalised groups, such as women
4. Ensure events are regularly collaborations between Centre Staged and other societies, especially those within Guild Drama, to foster an inclusive community and raise greater awareness of aforementioned opportunities and issues
5. To ensure consistent awareness and fundraising, the society strongly encourages the coordination of a team to produce an annual festival with all the prior objectives at its heart
6. Be a point of contact and consultation on matters of inclusivity and access for marginalised groups in Guild Drama
