Liberal Arts & Natural Sciences

The Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences Society (LANS Soc) is a society for students on the LANS degree programme, and for anybody interested in the interdisciplinary nature of the degree. Our aim is to provide our members with the opportunity to be part of a strong and inclusive community in which those with a diverse range of interests can come together to participate in a number of social events and activities. Over the course of the year, we will be organising a variety of events, including nights out in Birmingham, games nights, quizzes, ice skating and more!

Our main event every year is the LANS Soc. Ball which tends to occur around Easter/towards the end of the year, where we pull out our finest attire and celebrate the year so far!
