The 93% Club Birmingham is a community for state-educated students at the University of Birmingham.
Named after the 93% of people in the UK who attend state schools, we are part of a national movement dedicated to ensuring that background never limits potential. We believe talent is everywhere, but access to networks, opportunities and professional knowledge is not always evenly distributed.
Our mission is simple: to help state-educated students build the confidence, connections and skills needed to thrive at university and beyond. Through careers events, networking opportunities, employer partnerships, mentoring, skills workshops and social events, we provide the support that helps students navigate university life and access competitive careers.
Whether you're the first in your family to attend university, looking to expand your professional network, or simply searching for a community of ambitious, like-minded students, The 93% Club Birmingham is a place where you can belong.
We celebrate the strengths that come with being state educated: resilience, determination, ambition and perspective. Together, we're creating a community that supports one another, opens doors for one another and is proud of where we've come from.
Join us to find your people, grow your network and shape your future.
