Welcome to the Meditation Society! 
We're a society who come together weekly to practice led meditations together, followed by chats on mindfulness, wellness and life.
This term our sessions will run weekly on Wednesdays from 4pm-5:30pm in the Chaplaincy. Newcomers are always welcome! No booking or membership is required to attend so just come along.
No experience meditating is required, we provide a safe learning environment for new people as well as a sitting group for those with an established practise. You do not have to be a Buddhist to join - our members come from all religions or none.
We have teachers come in from the Birmingham Buddhist Centre to guide our meditations as well as lead discussions, however the topics that we discuss apply to everyone, not just Buddhists.
We have a very open, comfortable space for people to share and discuss their experiences as much as they want to, as long as they do it in a way that is respectful to our other members.
