WINNER - Ian King Award for Outstanding Society 2019
Hello everyone!
Fancy improving your core strength, flexibility, and inner peace, all while finding your new best friends? Then, the University of Birmingham Yoga Society is for you! All our classes are suitable for beginners, and they are all led by professional teachers from yoga studios around Birmingham. Our classes run three times a week on campus:
Monday 6-7pm, Wednesday 4-5pm, and Thursday 4-5pm
Pay for classes at the door (we can only take cash). You can hire mats at each class for an extra £1. All money raised from mat rental will be donated to a charity you chose! Sign ups are posted on Instagram and WhatsApp.
Each class is £4 for members, and £5 for non-members.
This society is perfect for beginners wanting to give something new a go, as well as for those who are a little bit more experienced (the majority of the committee were beginners, so don't worry at all if you've never tried it before)! We run loads of socials, such as Biscuit Decorating, Movie Night and Sports Night with pres as a society. Practicing yoga will not only help improve your flexibility/strength but also give you a chance to make friends and have fun.
Keep up to date with our Whatsapp (https://chat.whatsapp.com/LZZ9UDdgNrBJ25lMiX3kEY) and Instagram (@yogauob) page for more information on signing up to classes and updates on exciting events to come.
We look forward to seeing all of you this year!
Love YogaSoc xoxo
