Where the world becomes your family!
ISA is about fun, unforgettable memories filled with times and people who feel like home! Whether you’re here for a full degree, Erasmus, exchange, or just a semester, ISA is where you find your people, your plans, and your best memories at the University Of Birmingham.
We’re a FREE-to-join society for international students who don’t want to do uni alone. Our events promise fun socials, city trips and weekend-away excursions, late night events, and friendships that actually last.
Why ISA is the place everyone talks about?
We don't do awkward meet-ups, only fun events with lasting friendships and lifelong memories.
Expect:
- Speed-friending and unique socials
- Late-night socials, karaoke, and games nights
- Language exchange & culture swaps
- UK city trips and weekend-away adventures
(and much, much more)
One week you’re dancing. Next week you’re laughing till 2am! The next you’re on a train to a new city with people who started as strangers and now feel like friends.
Being international can feel exciting, and overwhelming; but you’re never on your own here.
ISA is here for you :)
We:
- Help you settle into life in university
- Make sure you make frfiends and always have people to turn to
- Create a space where everyone belongs
If you’re homesick, want to make friends, or just feel lost in general, we’re right here!
