Students can also choose to take exams, allowing them to achieve the full Level 1 Certificate in BSL.
Come to our Taster session on Thursday 1st October 2026 at Nuffield G17 from 7-9pm!
We will be running a taster session at the beginning of the semester for you to find out more and give it a go for free.
How does our society work?
Membership is £5 - this allows members to attend our social events, charity fundraisers, volunteering opportunities and much more.
The BSL Level 1 course price for 2026/27 is £150 for weekly classes during the term throughout the whole academic year (ignore the dates on the event tickets). The lessons have limited spaces and sell out fast, so be sure to grab one now if you know you're interested! Additionally, students can also choose to take three exams that occur at specific times in order to achieve the full Level 1 Certificate in BSL, these exams are paid for separately. All tickets are available under our events tab.
