Join us for a breezy and fun-filled Outdoor Kite Flying Day at the Metalworks and Mason Social Spaces! Fly a kite, have a cookie and chill out on some blankets in the sun. We'll have kite making supplies available in both social spaces, and the opportunity to join up and fly them together.
Join your Residence Life Events Team for a fun afternoon - decorate your very own kite and (optionally) take a quick walk over the Shackleton in the Vale Village to fly them... oh and don't forget to take a cookie or two to enjoy in the sun!
The event will involve creating kites between 3-5 pm then walking over to the green space behind Shackleton to fly your tailor-made kite whilst enjoying a picnic in the sun! It’s the perfect way to enjoy some sunshine, good vibes, and a well-deserved break from studying.
This event is FREE for UoB students, please make sure you bring your student ID card!
