🌍 In-person: Guild of Students Lawn

Barbecue time is coming up very soon! Bring your assorted foodstuffs and soft drinks to the Guild Lawn for an afternoon of grilling in the sun to round off exam season. Make sure to check the important food info at the bottom!

We'll be raising money for Birmingham Mind, a local mental health charity, and we're opening up a raffle of miscellaneous CSS merch and computer-related stuff we have lying around. We'll be doing it near the end of the barbecue, so make sure to head over for that! It's also looking to be very hot, especially near the barbecues, so it's a good idea to bring some water along.

Note this is a members only event, so pick up a membership from the guild website here if you don't have one already to come along.

Please note we will not be providing the food!

Bring along meat, vegetables, burgers, anything you'd like us to cook for you and we'll grill it for you. We will have a fridge on the lawn to store any food brought along, and 2 barbecues to separate meat from vegetarian food. We will have napkins at the event, but it's a good idea to bring any cutlery or plates you'd like to use with you.

Make sure to bring food in the original packaging from the store you bought it from, as we cannot use it if it isn't. Please make sure your food is stored safely, especially regarding meat products, such as ensuring it stays chilled in ice or a cooler bag until we can store it in our fridge.
